So Alison posted a very long message via a series of Tweets last night, in which asked people to donate to a charity for the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in Florida, who were the victims of a shooter, in which 17 people lost their lives. Additionally, Alison also gave details regarding two charity projects she'll be personally involved in, asking people to donate to whichever they felt personally connected to...

If you've followed me for a while, you know I'm all about charity work. There are a few I want to share in this thread, either because I support the cause or I'm actually involved in the campaign. If you have the means, please donate to the one(s) that resonate(s) with you...

The kids at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High are headed back to school next week. I can't begin to imagine how that must feel, but there is a fund to help that community rebuild that all goes through the county schools' nonprofit. Let's show them some love. https://www.gofundme.com/stonemandouglasvictimsfund?utm_source=internal&utm_medium=email&utm_content=campaign_title&utm_campaign=donation_receiptv5

March 22nd is World Water Day & I'll be joining @amypaffrath as we hike up Griffith Park carrying 40lb jerry jugs to symbolize the people who have to do this every day just to get clean water. Donations go to building these people in need safe water wells. https://my.thirstproject.org/alisonhaislip

Thank you for taking the time to read thru all these and to look into the ones that speak to you. I hope to maximize the good in social media outreach, and I think we can all agree that these days, we could all use a little more good. xx - alison

If you folks can, please take a moment to look over all three charities and please donate (if possible)!

Thanks in advance!
