Alison tweeted this out earlier today:

When @GeekandSundry asked to lock me in a room w/ @JoshMcDermitt, @amber_benson, & @DanCasey I was like...PLEASE.

Now, if you're like me, you may remember Alison talking about doing/playing "Escape Rooms" before on Twitter, on her podcast with Alex - the Half Hour Happy Hour, or in various interviews she's done.

The idea is similar to the old "escape the room" video game, except it's IRL and is a physical activity folks play as a group. Players solve a series of puzzles using clues/hints/strategy and what they have on-hand to complete a given objective, usually with a time-limit.

Never played before, but I've heard that these are quite alot of fun and Alison seems to enjoy them quite a bit when she's talked about it in the past.

The "Escape!" series is a fairly new one (to me) and looks like it's shaping up to be an episodic entry by Geek & Sundry, with various special guests each week.

You can head over to view the ep either through the link in the tweet, or by clicking here:

They describe this episode as follows:

On this episode of Escape!, Josh McDermitt, Alison Haislip, Amber Benson, and Dan Casey are all convicts trying to escape prison in the 1930s. Can they get out in time?

We’ve locked celebrities in a room together and thrown a bunch of puzzles and riddles at them to see if they can free themselves in under a half hour. Janet Varney hosts as we bring the escape room phenomenon to the screen.

Sounds like a blast, so be sure to check it out! Cheesy
